OK so this is not really a tian but it is tianlike!
Simply cut paper thin slices of potatoes and zucchini and layer them in a baking dish. then douse in olive oil with salt, pepper, a bit of garlic and roast 🙂
This looks absolutely gorgeous! I’d never thought about using potato to layer – I bet it makes for an amazing combination with the zucchini! I’d love to know your thoughts on my attempt at tian provençal 🙂 http://goodfoodmarsh.wordpress.com/2014/08/18/tian-provencal/
That looks really good 🙂 The only thing i would do differently is slice the veggies paper thin with a mandoline! But i think it depends what type of texture you want to bring to your dish…if you add potatoes then definitely cut them with that like you would do for a Gratin Dauphinois 🙂
I like the avocado pic on your blog looks really good i love avocado 🙂
