So i made the broth yesterday and since I forgot to buy the veggies it was a very basic version of it!
I just threw 2 chicken thighs in water and waited 🙂
Well yes you just can’t be in a hurry when making broth! The good thing is that it’s extremely low maintenance, the only thing you have to do is remove the meat to let it reduce after an hour (i actually added back the bones for extra flavor).
Then, since i was getting out of the house anyway i went shopping and i added a few egg noodles, 3 carrots, 1 celery branch and some mushrooms to make a lovely chicken soup- and I have to say it is delicious! (my burnt tongue can attest to it)
The flavor is so much deeper than with regular broth (or no broth at all). I’m happy i tried it!
