Recipe envy: Maple syrup pecan pie

So for some reason I found a recipe book given to me by my photographer (yes the one from the amazing photo shoots!) and found the recipe i had been meaning to try: the walnut pie.

But what I’m really craving is maple syrup and pecan pie, so i think i might give it a try this weekend 🙂

I found many American recipes but i’m afraid not to find corn syrup so i found this other, French recipe from Marmiton…we will see!! (I adapted it with the comments i found)

I might make it as mini pies rather than one big one.

Pecan pie


  • 1 pâte sablée
  • 2 œufs
  • 150g de cassonade
  • 2 cuillère à soupe de farine
  • 25cl de sirop d’érable
  • 200g de noix de pécan
  • 1 sachet de sucre vanillé
  • 1 pincée de sel

Instructions :

  1. Mélanger la cassonade, le sucre vanillé, la farine et la pincée de sel
  2. Fouetter les oeufs et ajouter les oeufs à la préparation
  3. Ajoutez le sirop d’érable et les noix de pécan
  4. Remplir la pâte à tarte de la préparation
  5. Enfourner dans le four préchauffé à 200 pendant 30 à 40 minutes.
