Can’t believe i never posted this: Nathalie’s fondant from Trish deseine

This cake is so delicious i’ve now made it countless number of times.

It’s VERY easy to make, pleasant even, it’s simple and most of all, it’s a sure winner…everywhere i’ve made it everyone loved it 🙂

So it is a bit of a surprise to find i don’t have it in my e-collection!

This recipe is from Trish Deseine (http://about.me/trishdeseine) who is a great food writer 🙂

Ing pour un fondant 6/8 pers

  • 200g de chocolat noir ( 70%)
  • 200g beurre
  • 200g de sucre
  • 5 oeufs
  • 1 cs de farine

  1. Préchauffer le four à 190C.
  7. Laisser refroidir.

And no, i’m not crual enough to not give this recipe to my english speaking friends!

Ing for a cake that serves 6/8 ppl

  • 200g  70% cocoa chocolate
  • 200g butter (1.5 sticks of butter)
  • 200g sugar ( 1 cup)
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 tbsp flour

  1. Preheat oven to 375F.
  2. Melt chocolate and butter in a saucepan or in the microwave
  3. Add sugar and let cool a bit
  4. Add eggs one by one, mixing well between each egg
  5. Add flour and mix well (a recurring theme?)
  6. Pour in the mold of your choice and cook for 20 minutes, the middle of the cake should still jiggle a bit when you take it out
  7. Let cool- if you can.

You’ll thank me. 🙂
