Dinner at Otmane’s

I had a long promised dinner planned with a couple of friends.

My friend Otmane offered to make a traditional moroccan pickled lemon and olive chicken tajine. You eat it with bread (actually using the bread as your spoon!).
It is basically a slow simmered chicken with a delicious gravy of onion, pickled lemon and olives, that melts in your mouth in harmony. It is tangy yet very mild. In one word: delicious!

We accompanied this dish with a nice green salad and I had made two desserts: a apricot blueberry crumble and a milk and caramel chocolate tart.

Needless to say we are stuffed!!

Have a good weekend everyone!
