Falafel and scones :)

So i wanted to make falafel this week end, and i had a premix for scones that was going bad, so i thought: perfect combination, falafel and scones!

well not really but what the heck my friends don’t pay when they come eat so they can’t really complain😉

For the falafels i was a bit disappointed, since i oven-cooked them and i do believe they deserve to be fried or at least pan fried.

Also, i had a bit of trouble finding a blender capable to blend the chickpeas, they’re a thick mix!!

Ingredients for 4 ppl

  • 1 big chickpea can (800g)
  • 2 small potatoes, cooked and peeled
  • handful of: mint, coriander and parsley
  • 1 garlic clove (smahed- to be honest i used powder )
  • 2 tsp cumin seeds
  • salt & pepper
  • olive oil

Directions

  • mix all the ingredients in a blender except for the oil
  • make into balls
  • pan fry in olive oil until golden
